Check & Mate by Ali Hazelwood
I waited to read this one because it’s shelved in YA, and I thought I wasn’t in the mood for younger characters. I was wrong. This book is fantastic!
First of all, any book description containing the words “bad boy of chess” should not be ignored. Obviously.
This turned out to be such a great story, and such a great romance. I loved their chemistry, and the plot is great. I didn’t think chess could be romantic, but here we are.
This one belongs on my reread shelf!
